Gary Acord

Chief Financial Officer

Gary Acord is the Chief Financial Officer at Alteryx, a leading developer and a pioneer of geographic business intelligence technology. Gary joined Alteryx in 2011, bringing 14 years of broad financial expertise as a CFO and a successful track record of managing corporate growth and change, including experience in public offerings, private placements, venture debt & equity, commercial bank financings, mergers & acquisitions, and contract negotiations.

Gary's financial career began in 1979, at KPMG, a global 'Big Four' public accounting firm, where he was a managing partner of the company's Las Vegas operations. In 1996, he moved into the software industry, leveraging his considerable hands-on experience in systems implementation and integration, financial analysis, sales forecasting, and marketing.

Prior to Alteryx, Gary was the CFO of KACE, a provider of enterprise systems management software, based in Mountain View, California. Gary was instrumental in negotiating and closing the 2010 sale of KACE to Dell Computer. At other high-tech and Internet companies – including SalesLogix, Patchlink, MusicMatch and Artisoft – Gary also led several successful IPOs, multiple rounds of venture funding, various acquisitions, and directed corporate change management.

Gary is a longtime CPA and holds a masters degree in accounting from the University of Arizona as well as a bachelor of business administration from James Madison University.
