- New Big Data tools that allow all Data Artisans to inject social media into any analytic app: This release includes new preview capabilities for Twitter, Yelp and Foursquare that can be simply added into any analytic workflow. Additionally, Alteryx is announcing a new partnership with Gnip, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of social media data, and enabling the integration of the Gnip enterprise social media streams into analytic applications.
- The fastest way to get sophisticated analytics directly into the hands of business decision makers: Alteryx Strategic Analytics 8.5 is the first analytic platform to programmatically deliver Tableau Data Extract files as a native output from an analytic process. This leverages the new Tableau Data Extract API – a new capability of the upcoming Tableau 8.0 release. The Alteryx release, building on the Alteryx and Teradata partnership, enables greater customer value from Teradata Unified Data Architecture investments with support for Teradata Aster analytical capabilities and a new high-speed Teradata data warehouse connector which provides read/write capabilities. Alteryx will also provide a new Oracle database bulk loader enabling Oracle customers to benefit from large- scale data blending.
- The easiest to use, sophisticated analytics platform with a modern, intuitive analytic design experience: This release introduces a new user interface that is purposely designed for the modern Data Artisan. Additionally, Alteryx Strategic Analytics 8.5 makes it easy to integrate location intelligence into analytic applications with new interactive mapping capabilities. The release also enables deeper understanding of customer behavior with new packaged predictive tools such as market basket analysis and A/B testing.
