Alteryx Puts a Face Behind Big Data and Strategic Analytics

Leading business intelligence provider demonstrates its philanthropic side

On May 18 – 20, 2012, Alteryx will be a participating Sponsor of Adventure TEAM Challenge 2012 for the third year in a row held by World T.E.A.M, a not-for-profit organization that organizes athletic events for disabled and abled bodied citizens. Held in the Colorado desert near Grand Junction and Fruita, the three days of competition are designed to inspire and challenge athletes of all abilities.

Alteryx is sponsoring five, five-person teams that are made up of Alteryx employees, Alteryx customers from companies such as Intalytics, Spatial Data, TomTom and Walmart, and two disabled athlete team-members, one ambulatory such as being blind or an amputee, and the other is required to be in a wheelchair. These events could include running, mountain biking, whitewater rafting , rappelling, or paddle boarding through the wilderness as the teams, truly are a team, and support one another each step of the way.

Created by blind adventurer Erik Weihenmayer, the Adventure TEAM Challenge brings together experienced adventure athletes, wounded warriors from our nation’s military, fire fighters and desk jockeys – including paraplegics and quadriplegics. Each team must work together during the competition, and along the way, teams are challenged both physically and mentally, and learn that innovation and teamwork are the keys to success.
