Dean Stoecker is chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Alteryx. Dean co-founded Alteryx in 1997 and has since lead the company through solid organic growth, three rounds of funding and a successful IPO in March 2017—recognized as a top performer in the class of 2017. Dean’s leadership and motivational skills, along with his ability to create, communicate and realize a vision, are a driving force behind the company’s 20+ year success.
Since taking Alteryx public, Dean lead the company in delivering eight consecutive quarters of more than 45 percent year-over-year (YoY) growth, earning a spot on the Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ list for two consecutive years. This performance is a direct result of the company’s ability to execute on delivering a transformational experience to customers of all sizes and Dean's unique vision and strategy around empowering every worker, regardless of technical acumen, to transform their data into actionable insights and drive meaningful business impact.
Dean serves as advisor to entrepreneurs and is an active philanthropist, creating the Alteryx for Good program to bring the thrill of solving real-world problems to non-profits, educators and local communities. Dean is passionate about humanizing the world of data science and analytics, evident in the company’s culture, extensive resources for continued education and efforts to influence social change. Dean was recognized as an Outstanding Public Company CEO by OCTANE and received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award in the Orange County Region.
Prior to co-founding Alteryx, Dean held various sales and business leadership roles at Strategic Mapping and Dun & Bradstreet. Dean earned his MBA from Pepperdine University and his undergraduate degree in international business from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
John BellizziSenior Vice President, Thomson Reuters Professional Division
As one of the early investors in Alteryx, John Bellizzi saw the vision for the convergence of market data and customer insight. Today, Mr. Bellizzi is senior vice president of Thomson Reuters Corporation, a global provider of integrated information-based solutions. Before assuming this position in 2006, he served as Senior Vice President, Business Operations for Thomson Learning, and Executive Vice President and CFO of Manning, Selvage & Lee, a worldwide public relations firm. Mr. Bellizzi’s career also includes senior-level positions at Thomson Financial, Thomson Learning International, Eli Lilly & Co., Paramount Publishing, Inc., and Pepsi-Cola International.
Jeff HoringManaging Director, Insight Venture Partners
Jeff Horing, a co-founder and Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners since 1995, led the Series B funding for Alteryx and joined its board to help drive global growth. Under his leadership, Insight has become a premier venture capital and private equity firm focused on growth investments in software and internet businesses. Mr. Horing’s areas of focus include data, analytics, mobile, and infrastructure, and SaaS software in Europe and North America.
Chuck CoryFormer Chairman of Global Technology Banking, Morgan Stanley
Charles R. (“Chuck”) Cory served as Chairman of Global Technology Banking at Morgan Stanley from 2005 to 2015. Before being named Chairman, he was responsible for the firm’s activities in technology M&A from 1996 to 2005, running that business on a global basis from Silicon Valley. In more than 30 years as an investment banker, Mr. Cory has advised on more than 300 successful transactions aggregating well in excess of $500 billion, ranging from IPOs and debt financings to corporate restructurings, spinoffs and mergers, acquisitions, and business combinations. Mr. Cory serves on the board of directors of Essence Group Holdings Corp, the parent of Lumeris, Inc., a leading technology-enabled platform for population health. He is a director of ezCater, the only national online marketplace for corporate catering. Mr. Cory also serves on the advisory boards of Moonlighting LLC, a native mobile app for the gig economy, and Tufton Venture Partners, LP, a new fund which seeks to commercialize IP from the UVA labs and medical school.
Timothy I. Maudlin
Timothy I. MaudlinLead Board Member, Web.com
Timothy I. Maudlin comes to the Alteryx Board of Directors with a strong web and e-commerce background. He currently is the lead board member of WEB.com, and serves on the boards of several other companies across a range of industries, including Drilling Info, Inc.; Pluralsight, LLC.; and Ministry Brands, LLC. He previously served on the board of ExactTarget, Inc.; MediaMind Technologies, Inc.; Frontline Technologies; and eVestment Alliance. Formerly, Mr. Maudlin was a managing partner of Medical Innovation Partners and then appointed President of its management company. He holds a B.A. and is a “Distinguished Alumnus” of St. Olaf College, and graduated with a Master’s in Management from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University with majors in accounting, finance, and management.
Kimberly AlexyPrincipal at Alexy Capital Management
Kimberly Alexy is a seasoned financial services professional with more than 20 years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance, and investments. She was a sell-side equity research analyst on Wall Street for nearly a decade, specializing in technology stocks. Over the past 10 years, she has been an active board member at multiple publicly traded and private companies and has chaired audit, compensation, nominating, and governance committees as well as a series of special committees. Ms. Alexy is Principal at Alexy Capital Management, a private investment fund she founded in 2005.
Eileen SchlossFormer Executive Vice President, Medidata Solutions, Inc.
Eileen Schloss is a veteran executive who has worked for more than 20 years as a human resource professional to help mentor and guide HR strategy and operations. She has held executive human resources roles at organizations including both global brands in the Fortune 500 such as Apple Computer and Charles Schwab, and high-growth businesses needing to scale. Ms. Schloss has also worked with many boards and committees on executive compensation and human capital elements.
MARK ANDERSONFORMER PRESIDENT, PALO ALTO NETWORKS
Mark Anderson is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of rapidly building and scaling organizations for growth and profitability and serving enterprise customers with a high level of quality and integrity. Mr. Anderson is the chief growth officer of Anaplan and former president of Palo Alto Networks, where he was responsible for sales, go-to-market (GTM), and customer satisfaction as well as business and corporate development. Mr. Anderson helped build out GTM teams to support rapid growth, growing sales ten times over during his tenure. Before Palo Alto Networks, Mr. Anderson led worldwide sales activities at F5 Networks and was instrumental in the GTM success and growth to dominate the Application Delivery Controller marketplace. Earlier, he held leadership positions at Lucent Technologies and Cisco Systems. Mr. Anderson was the first independent board member at Avi Networks — a private, multi-cloud ADC innovator in Silicon Valley. He’s also on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley. He holds a B.A. in business and economics from York University in Toronto.
