Cloud Execution for Desktop (CEfD) is now called Workspace Execution. The new name reflects how Designer-built workflows and Analytic Apps can be saved to Alteryx One, managed in a shared workspace, and executed or scheduled in the cloud.

Yes. Once a Designer workflow is saved to Alteryx One, Workspace Execution can run it on a schedule in the cloud. Scheduled workflows continue to execute through Workspace Execution while being managed centrally in Alteryx One.

Schedules can be reviewed and managed directly in Alteryx One, including run frequency, schedule status, upcoming runs, execution history, and previous run details.
Teams can monitor Workspace Execution activity directly in Alteryx One through the Jobs tab. Workflow runs, execution progress, and previous job activity are all available from a centralized view, making it easier to review workflow outcomes and identify issues quickly.
Scheduled workflow activity can be reviewed separately through the Schedules tab. Teams can check upcoming runs, review execution history, and manage schedule status through Workspace Execution scheduling workflows.
Yes. Designer-built Analytic Apps can be saved to Alteryx One and run through Workspace Execution. Once an app is available in the Alteryx One library, users can launch it directly from the platform and execute it through a browser-based experience powered by App Builder.

Current support and scheduling behavior varies by deployment type. Designer-built Analytic Apps are not available for scheduling, and support on the Alteryx Data Plane differs from the Private Data Plane configuration.
