Direct Sales and Customer Success leaders join fast growing Strategic Analytics provider
Irvine, CA - January 12, 2012 - Alteryx Inc., the leading provider of Strategic Analytics, today announced that Marc Gemassmer and Mike Regan have joined its executive team. Mr. Gemassmer is senior vice president of Direct Sales, where he'll lead field sales, sales engineering, and inside sales. Mr. Regan is vice president of Customer Success, where he will drive client services, account management, and training. Both Gemassmer and Regan will report directly to Alteryx chairman and CEO, Dean Stoecker.

Marc Gemassmer has a proven capability to deliver results and more than 15 years of experience as an accomplished sales leader. Prior to joining Alteryx, Gemassmer served as Vice President of Sales at Flexera Software. While at Flexera he tripled revenue and drove the largest deal in the company's history. Prior to Flexera, he was a Vice President of Sales at SAP America, where he built and managed an application sales team. Previously, he held various domestic and international sales leadership positions at PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation). Throughout his career, Gemassmer has demonstrated a keen propensity for assembling and leading effective sales teams.
Gemassmer currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of the Varsity Crew Team. He enjoys cycling, skiing, and golf in his spare time.
Mike Regan has considerable background covering all service touch points for customers-including technical support, account management, training and education, and professional services-along with the other activities needed to improve renewal rates, sell through rates, and overall customer satisfaction. Most recently, Reagan was Vice President of Operations at Kace (recently acquired by Dell), where his entrepreneurial spirit and a "take-the-hill" attitude helped transform Kace into a leader in systems management appliances.
Regan has held various senior management roles at global software organizations, along with a number of startups and growth stage companies. These roles include SVP of Worldwide Services for Portal Software, VP of the Vertical Product Group at Siebel, SVP of Professional Services at Sybase, SVP of Operations at Datasweep, and SVP of Services for MarketLive.
Regan currently lives in Carlsbad, California. He holds a BS from Bloomsburg University and an MBA from Lehigh University. Regan enjoys skiing, tennis, and cycling in his spare time.
