SRC extends capabilities of leading web-based market analysis tool

Experian consumer data included in SRC’s DemographicsNow.com

Orange, CA – July 15, 2009 – SRC, LLC, the leading provider of Geographic Business Intelligence® solutions, today announced the addition of the Consumer Household List feature now available on DemographicsNow.com. This new feature brings tactical capability to the power of strategic planning that is inherent to DemographicsNow, making this online subscription service a complete solution for market analysis, consumer profiling and direct marketing execution for any industry.

The Consumer Household List in DemographicsNow, sourced using quarterly updates from Experian’s Gold File, for the first time allows subscribers to not only profile, segment and acquire consumer data by geographic region and pinpoint individuals based on dozens of household-level demographics, including income, gender and age, but also identify who is buying their products, where they are and how to acquire more customers. These capabilities result in measurable returns on investment for customer acquisition and real estate/retail expansion opportunities.

DemographicsNow subscribers now can download and create lists containing names, addresses and phone numbers for seven cents per record, reaching the targeted audience to drive buyers for retailers, restaurant owners/developers and financial services, as well as factoring in customer potential for restaurant and retail locations. This moves beyond what a typical list provider offers because DemographicsNow enables users to analyze geography based on relevant data that will provide them with information right down to the household level.

The solution Marcus & Millichap has created using SRC technology also allows great flexibility and control of the view into a submaket’s transactions based on varying time periods and comparisons with other submarkets. Marcus & Millichap’s enhanced ability to interact with more current market data and produce a wide range of reports for any combination of submarket selections or time periods has convinced it that SRC’s technology will support multiple generations of solutions expected to follow this latest effort’s initial success.

“Bringing major data providers together into SRC technology creates a convenient and comprehensive tool, not only to analyze, but also to segment data into actionable results,”said Dean Stoecker, CEO of SRC. “Marketers have the ability to purchase direct-mail lists but never know how recent or specific the information is. With the addition of geographic targeting and the selection of demographic details that are updated quarterly, new-customer acquisition is even more precise and purposeful. Additionally, during these economics times, marketers need to be proactive and on-target with their message to allow the consumer to spend. Targeted spending with these profiling analytics ensures results.”

DemographicsNow subscribers also have access to business data demographics and quarterly demographic estimates and projections, creating a complete package of independent data compiled with the business decision-maker in mind.
