Alteryx offers customers real-time query management
Irvine, Calif., March 20, 2013 – Alteryx, Inc, the leading provider of Strategic Analytics software, today announced it will support Cloudera Impala™, as well as Hive 2 to bring faster, more efficient access to Big Data for today’s Data Artisans and line-of-business analysts.

Alteryx will offer support of real-time query management through:
- Cloudera Impala Support – using the Impala driver, Alteryx will support Cloudera Impala to provide real-time, ad hoc query capability to Apache Hadoop, complementing traditional batch processing and providing faster queries for more proficient analytic results.
- Hive 2 Support – Alteryx now will also provide support for Hive 2, fast becoming the industry standard platform, via a Simba ODBC driver, which will allow data analysts a more efficient way to access and retrieve data from Hadoop.
Alteryx recently announced Alteryx Strategic Analytics 8.5 at its annual user conference, Inspire 2013. Today’s announcement of real time query support will be available in Q2 2013 following Alteryx Strategic Analytics 8.5 general availability.
Alteryx is announcing this in conjunction with GigaOm’s Structure Data this week, March 20 – 21, 2013, where George Mathew will speak at 11:00 a.m. ET in the Aquitania West Suite. Mathew will discuss ‘How big data blending drives better business analytics,’ including: empowering business analysts to get more value, analyzing data in the context of all relevant data, and performing real-time Hadoop queries.
