Dean Stoecker is chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Alteryx. Dean co-founded Alteryx in 1997 and has since lead the company through solid organic growth, three rounds of funding, and a successful IPO in March 2017 — recognized as a top performer in the class of 2017. Dean’s leadership and motivational skills, along with his ability to create, communicate, and realize a vision, are a driving force behind the company’s 20+ year success.

Since taking Alteryx public, Dean lead the company in delivering eight consecutive quarters of more than 45% year-over-year (YoY) growth, earning a spot on the Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ list for two consecutive years. This performance is a direct result of the company’s ability to execute on delivering a transformational experience to customers of all sizes, and Dean’s unique vision and strategy around empowering every worker, regardless of technical acumen, to transform their data into actionable insights and drive meaningful business impact.

Dean serves as advisor to entrepreneurs and is an active philanthropist, creating the Alteryx for Good program to bring the thrill of solving real-world problems to nonprofits, educators, and local communities. Dean is passionate about humanizing the world of data science and analytics, which is evident in the company’s culture, extensive resources for continued education, and efforts to influence social change. Dean was recognized as an Outstanding Public Company CEO by OCTANE and received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 Award in the Orange County Region.

Before co-founding Alteryx, Dean held various sales and business leadership roles at Strategic Mapping and Dun & Bradstreet. Dean earned his MBA from Pepperdine University and his undergraduate degree in international business from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Scott Jones is the president and chief revenue officer (CRO) of Alteryx, responsible for global growth of the sales and professional services teams. During Scott’s tenure at Alteryx, the company delivered eight consecutive quarters of more than 45% year-over-year (YoY) growth; sales rep productivity, large deal size, and new customer count continue to increase dramatically. Scott’s vision and leadership in merging an enterprise solution-oriented sales model with the existing, successful land-and-expand strategy is instrumental in the in the high-growth returns Alteryx continues to deliver.

As a key participant in the evolution of self-service and end-to-end analytics platforms, Scott recognizes the power that sophisticated yet easy-to-use solutions can deliver — empowering people to solve impactful business and societal problems. Scott is committed to driving a culture focused on humanizing the world of data science and analytics and helping both associates and customers embrace the unconventional, challenge the status quo, and help alter the record book with Alteryx.

Before joining Alteryx, Scott served in leadership roles at Tableau, SAP, and Business Objects, accumulating more than 15 years of experience in the analytic software space. Scott maintains extensive experience building and managing sales teams in the enterprise software and marketing service industries, and a 25-year track record of rapid, high-impact success in both startups and market-leading companies.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico and received his MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business Management.

Olivia Duane Adams (Libby) is the chief customer officer (CCO) and co-founder of Alteryx, and one of only a handful of female founders to take a technology company public, along with her founding counterparts, Dean Stoecker and Ned Harding. Libby’s vision and leadership in the creation of the world’s leading data science and analytics community is a key factor in the company’s 20+ year success. Under Libby’s leadership, the Alteryx Community has grown both on- and offline, serving as an incubator for the workforce of the future and empowering women in business via the Alteryx Women of Analytics initiative.

Libby recognized early on that creating a customer-centric culture went beyond delivering a successful product experience and set out to enable a global community of passionate data lovers, where Alteryx users can solve more together, boldly step into the unknown, and achieve more than they ever thought possible. Libby spearheads the growth of the Alteryx Community as an engaging platform online as well as offline, with support for local and topic-focused user groups, launching what is known today as the Alteryx Inspire user conference and introducing the Alteryx ACE program.

Before co-founding Alteryx, Libby held various sales, customer, and marketing roles at Strategic Mapping, Donnelley, and VNU Business Media.

Libby earned a bachelor’s degree from Castleton University in Vermont and is an active member of the university’s alumni association.

 

Kevin Rubin

Kevin’s financial management and planning experience is driving the company forward through its next growth stage as the leader in self-service data analytics.

Kevin Rubin is chief financial officer (CFO) of Alteryx, responsible for all financial management activities including finance and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and business applications. Kevin brings 20 years of experience in the industry, leading both public and private technology companies through rapid growth and expansion.

Before joining Alteryx, Kevin was chief financial officer of MSC Software, a private equity-backed software company. Kevin was responsible for managing MSC through significant transition including aligning the financial and business operations to support MSC’s growth through systems, processes, and human capital. Kevin also led strategic activities including debt and recapitalizations transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kevin previously served as chief financial officer for Pictage, a venture-backed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider; DataDirect Networks, a data storage equipment provider; and MRV Communications, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment provider. Kevin started his career at Arthur Andersen as a member of its Technology Practice working with a broad range of small, privately held companies to large, publicly traded organizations.

Kevin is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Derek is responsible for all technology and technology initiatives, and leads both the Engineering and IT teams.

Derek is the chief technology officer of Alteryx, responsible for all technology and technology initiatives at the company, including Engineering and IT. Derek brings more than 20 years of experience helping companies leverage technology for strategic advantage, as well as leading technology organizations as they scale for growth.

Before joining Alteryx, Derek was a partner with Credera, focused on technology and business strategy. Derek also worked at Irvine Company where he was a divisional CIO, responsible for the technology and digital transformation of their largest business, Irvine Company Apartments.

Derek has also held a variety of roles at Avanade, including chief technology officer, vice president of corporate strategy and eirector of engineering. Derek also served as solution architect at Accenture, focused on architecting digital transformation solutions for Fortune 500 companies.  

Derek holds a MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.

Sharmila Mulligan is the chief strategy officer (CSO) of Alteryx, responsible for the company’s Silicon Valley operations, strategic planning, technology partnerships, and more. She joined Alteryx in the company’s acquisition of ClearStory Data, a modern data analytics company enabling automated business insights from disparate data, where she served as CEO. Sharmila has spent 25+ years building game-changing software companies in a variety of software and software-as-a-service (SaaS) markets.

Before joining Alteryx, Sharmila held executive roles at Aster Data Systems (acquired by Teradata Corporation), Hewlett-Packard (HP), Opsware (acquired by HP), and Netscape Communications, with previous roles at Microsoft and General Magic. She has driven the creation of several multi-billion-dollar market categories, including application servers, data center automation, and Big Data analytics.

Sharmila sits on the board of directors for ConocoPhillips and Lattice Engines, and serves as an advisor to numerous enterprise software and consumer technology companies. Sharmila earned two bachelor's degrees, in economics (BA) and computer science (BS), and received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Chad Bennett is senior vice president of Global Human Resources at Alteryx, revolutionizing business through data science and analytics. Chad is responsible for developing a global human capital strategy that fuels the fast-paced expansion and empowering culture at Alteryx.

Since joining Alteryx in 2015, Chad has built a strong human resources team focused on delivering business results and building on the strengths of its associates. Chad brings a unified, people-centered approach to organizational and leadership development, compensation and benefits, associate enablement, talent management, university relations, and advising leaders across the organization. During his tenure, Alteryx was named by Orange County Business Journal as one of the 2016 and 2017 Best Places to Work in Orange County.

With more than 15 years of human resources experience, Chad has worked across a variety of industries and organizations including Fortune 500 organizations, healthcare institutions, and government entities. Before joining Alteryx, Chad worked as VP of human resources for CoreLogic, focused on driving change and transformation across their technology organization. He also served in a variety of roles throughout his tenure at CoreLogic including global HR, learning and development, mergers and acquisitions, and talent acquisition.

Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from San Diego State University.

Ashley is responsible for the product roadmap and leads the team responsible for product innovation at Alteryx.

Ashley is the senior vice president of product management at Alteryx and is responsible for driving the direction of the Alteryx platform. Ashley brings tremendous knowledge to Alteryx to help scale its product organization, facilitate the development of cloud-based offerings, and strengthen strategic technology partnerships.

Before joining Alteryx, Ashley was director of product management and head of coud strategy at Tableau Software, Inc. where she drove Tableau’s move to the cloud including, overseeing the vision and development of its SaaS offering and managing their cloud partnership ecosystem. Previously, Ashley was technical program manager at Amazon.com, Inc., where she ran a global program to digitize content for the Kindle product line.

Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University and a master's degree in business administration and computer information systems from Colorado State University.

Chris brings significant corporate, transactional, and business experience to oversee all legal affairs for Alteryx as it continues its growth as a leader in self-service data analytics.

Chris Lal is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Alteryx, responsible for all legal affairs, including intellectual property, licensing, contract negotiations, compliance, and corporate governance. Chris has 18 years of experience as a corporate, transactions, and securities attorney representing both public and private companies in various phases of development and growth.

Before joining Alteryx, Chris was vice president, general counsel and secretary of Tilly’s, Inc., an NYSE-traded retail and e-commerce company, where he oversaw legal affairs related to SEC and NYSE compliance, Federal Trade Commission matters, e-commerce, intellectual property, and labor and employment. He managed complex litigation and was interim head of human resources.

Before Tilly’s, Chris served as general counsel at Thompson National Properties, Sunstone Hotel Investors, and RemedyTemp, helping these companies through various stages of growth and corporate change. Chris began his career at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, as a member of the corporate and securities practice, where he advised clients on matters including public securities offerings and private placements, corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Chris holds a bachelor’s from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.

Steve has worldwide responsibility for systems integrators, reseller partners, and driving expansion in emerging markets.

Steve is the senior vice president of business development at Alteryx and is responsible for systems integrators, Alteryx reseller partners, and driving expansion in emerging markets.

Before joining Alteryx, Steve held executive roles across operations, sales, strategy, and product management. He brings 25 years of experience in technology as a line-of-business general manager where he led product management efforts in a variety of businesses such as Sagent, Group 1, and Pitney Bowes. He also led the global sales team at Risk Management Solutions.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration (with honors) from Menlo College.
